Fuji Floral Design

About This Project

Fuji Floral Design is a long standing Atlanta flower shop. Having received multiple awards over the past 10 years I’ve had the privilege to launch their new site. Back in 2005 when I celebrated my wedding, my wife and I used Verna for our flowers and that started a long relationship. I launched an AJAX driven site back in 2005 and just recently updated her site with a WordPress back end that provides near endless solutions. Over the past 2 years we brainstormed and developed a strategy to both source photography from photographers, event managers and venue directors. This culminated in a great photo library that provided a framework to build a new site that was picture heavy yet luxurious.

I interviewed partners, associates and customers who provided feedback not only on style and functionality but what they like about Fuji Floral Design. This process took about three months since some major wedding events were running back to back. This allowed Verna and I to gather testimonials and photographs to be  developed and delivered to the bride and groom. The partners where able to see the new updates and circle back about any additional enhancements. This became the basis of the new site and success. Now Fuji Floral Design is receiving more wedding requests online than the previous website. SEO was implemented and also boosted the exposure of both the designs but also the venues that potential event/ wedding planners could identify with how the decorations would help the aesthetic for their own events.
