Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Dreamweaver, Brackets, Experience Design, Animate, Audition, Lightroom, Indesign, Acrobat and other Adobe solutions have been my “Swiss Army Knife” companions and facilitate most of my work.
Building brands is not just setting up a logo and stationery. It is the practice of reinforcing services and company culture around customers. Weather its an existing brand or a new development I have experience in building solutions for both.
Since the introduction of the iPhone my interest has relied on the mobile first design methodology. I test against Apple iOS, Android and Windows 7 devices. Bootstrap is a core tool set to bring responsive design to most website and applications
I started my career as a traditional artist. This foundation led me to use tools such as Painter, Sketchbook Pro, Layers and Ideas on iPad. Currently, Wacom tablets are among my preferred tools to produce my craft.
Responsive Web Design (RWD), AJAX, CSS 3, Javascript Frameworks, Media Queries, Twitter Bootstrap, Get Skeleton, jQuery, XML, Cvent, Pardot, SilverPop and DotNetNuke. Always learning as technologies emerge.
My first full time job was as a PowerPoint operator. Since then I have used an array of corporate presentation software such as Apple Keynote, Numbers, Pages, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Often planning an application requires simple tools like a pencil and a sketch pad. Research and user interviews lead to discoveries to develop prototypes. Low to high fidelity prototypes are used to document the user journey and to help the team understand the goals the application is set out deliver.
I design digital interfaces that rely on guidance from user research and feedback. To ensure that the final outcome leads to ease of use I implement Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines or Google’s Material Design. Bootstrap is another tools that speeds up this process for quick prototyping.
I use hosted solutions, Google analytics and web developer tools to track and enhance a site’s performance. Marketing grader is a great tool to see how efficient your site will perform using various criteria.
Sharing files with clients is a convenient way to collaborate by integrating Dropbox, Skydrive or Box as part of the workflow. Hosting videos through Vimeo or YouTube to alleviate server bandwidth.
My preferred tools of the trade include After Effects, ElectricImage, Form•Z, Cinema4D, Luxology Modo, ZBrush and Sculptris. Using these tools for motion graphics has allowed me to venture into many creative fields.
I’m always learning new techniques and tools. Team Treehouse, Udemy and Tuts+ have been great platforms to stay up to date. I’m interested in Service Design Thinking, Axure, Sketch, AngularJS, 3D printing, fast wire-framing, animated prototypes and how to train my hound.
