Junior Achievement of Central Upstate New York is sponsored by Delta Air Lines. Following the 2024 completion of the Career Center and Augusta Discovery Center in Georgia, Delta Air Lines expanded its footprint into the Rochester, New York, space. The primary objective was to establish a permanent presence within the JA Discovery Center of Central Upstate New York to inspire and educate students about the aviation industry, building brand awareness by highlighting various career paths and the benefits of working with Delta Air Lines.
Operating from Atlanta, the project was managed remotely through close coordination with the JA team to review architectural plans, site photography, and reference materials. This partnership allowed for the development of two content areas that leveraged the design successes of recent Georgia installations. A significant new development for the New York site was the execution of the Find Your Career interactive game, installed across three kiosks. My role involved coordinating with designers on technical specifications, ideating user flows, and communicating with developers during beta testing to refine timing, typography, and the density of job description content.
The environment consisted of two distinct areas: the Gate Experience, which included the flight deck and check-in terminal, and the Sky Club Lounge.
